The D-backs are back at Chase Field to take on the San Diego Padres Thursday, April 20 - Sunday, April 23 and the Kansas City Royals Monday, April 24 - Wednesday, April 26.
Saturday’s game on April 22 will feature the first bobblehead of the season - the Zac Gallen Scoreless Streak Bobblehead, for the first 15,000 fans, courtesy of Chase:
- The bobblehead celebrates Gallen’s consecutive scoreless inning record of 44.1 in 2022, making D-backs history and breaking Brandon Webb’s previous record of 42.0 scoreless innings.
- Gallen’s streak is the eighth longest in the live ball era (since 1920).
- He’s the fourth pitcher in the modern era to throw six or more scoreless innings in six straight starts, joining Don Drysdale (1968); Orel Hershiser (1988); and Zack Greinke (2015).
- Gallen was named NL Player of the Week on Monday, April 17.
