Cardinals Moms Day of Service at Rung for Women
Cardinals Moms Day of Service at Rung for Women
Cardinals Moms Eileen Flaherty, Andrea DeJong, Janice Bader, and Jennifer Hicks came to the Cardinals looking for a way to give back to the community that supports their sons. They landed on a partnership with Rung for Women and Urban Harvest because as moms, they know what it takes to nurture and grow - which is really the heart of both of these organizations. On September 17 the moms and their sons took a tour of Rung For Women to learn more about the organization's commitment to help women move from surviving to thriving. Post tour, the moms took some time to work in the Urban Harvest garden and farm on-site where they harvested, pruned and planted healthy foods that are used in Rung’s kitchen and to benefit the community.
